For many learner drivers weekly lessons
are the favoured route for learning to drive. However,
some people may find that it can take it take a long time
before they are ready to take their test. It is for
this reason that the LDC Driving System was created.
The LDC Driving System allows learner
drivers to study at home in preparation for their upcoming
lessons. By studying the topics that will be covered
and practised during the upcoming lessons, the pupil will
have a better understanding of what they will be learning
and practising. This saves valuable time at the start
of each lesson, allowing more actual driving to take place.
The system works as follows:
1) The pupil watches a DVD or video on
the lesson brief.
2) The pupil can check their
understanding and progress in the accompanying Driving
Skills Workbook.
3) The pupil undertakes the in-car
lesson.
Workbooks, DVD's and Videos can be
purchased through Lynn Barrett Driving School.
The LDC Driving System is not
compulsory, and all pupils will work to a set lesson plan
appropriate to their skill levels. Detailed
explanations and learning materials will be provided during
each lesson.
